It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to Heaven, we were all going direct the other way. Adel As-Saifi in other countries Men like Adel As-Saifi got so many prizes and so many promotions. Adel As-Saifi was the man. He was the man in an age when only very few men lived. He was a man who worked day and night to help others in a time when people are very selfish.
He was a man who created, invented and innovated for the sake of his people, for the sake of his land, for the freedom of his land and people…etc. Those who knew him, always said how humble and how modest he was. He was a man who disliked saying “I” though he achieved great things.
Childhood:
He is a Palestinian from Gaza. He was born in September 22nd 1970 in Gaza in a big family. He was brought up in a very humble and simple family. Adel As-Saifi was the boy who had a special case with his father.
He worked with his brothers in the social service center. He preferred to work in this field because he was fond of helping people especially children. Zionist forces arrested twice in As-Saraya jail in 1993.

Al Qassam Brigades:
He joined to Al Qassam Brigades in 2002, during his path with Al Qassam Brigades, Al Qassam leadership witnessed that he was a very discipline soldier in his duty, his worked as a police man in the government to serve his people. He participated in several actions to resist the occupation as:
1) He participated in protecting the camp from the Zionist forces.
2) He participated with his friends in ambushing the Zionist forces.
3) He participated in guarding his camp from the Zionist Special Forces.
Martyrdom:
On May 26th, 2007, he was in the police station in Az-Zaytoun neighborhood, Zionist war jets targeted the station, six Palestinian were killed and 26 Palestinians were injured. The mujahed was martyred after many years of hard work and sacrifice in defending his home from the Zionist occupation.
Al Qassam Brigades mourn the death of the Mujahedeen, reaffirms the commitment and determination to continue the resistance against the belligerent occupation forces.
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) who reported that the Prophet PBUH said: "The likeness of the Mujahid in the Cause of Allah – and Allah knows best who really strives in His Cause – is like a person who fasts and prays steadfastly. Allah guarantees that He will admit the Mujahid to Paradise if he dies in His Cause, otherwise He will return him to his home while being unscathed, rewarded, and with booty." (Reported by Muslim in his Sahih)
In another version, “Allah has guaranteed that one who goes out to fight in His cause while believing in Him and affirming the truth of His Messengers, will either be admitted to Paradise or returned to his home from where he set out with a reward or (his share of) booty.”
