Roket buatan Jurutera Hamas

Untuk menghadapi peralatan perang milik Zionis Israel yang serba canggih, HAMAS dengan sayap ketenteraannya, Brigade Izzuddin Al-Qassam hanya berbekalkan senjata-senjata buatan tangan "home made" hasil modifikasi jurutera Hamas dari senjata-senjata yang sedia ada. Berikut peralatan tempur jenis roket yang digunakan Hamas dalam misi ketenteraannya menyerang Israel .

1) Roket Al-Qassam

Roket Qassam adalah yang paling popular bagi Hamas. Al-Qassam-1, pertama kali dilancarkan terhadap sasaran Israel pada bulan Oktober 2001, mampu menjangkau jarak 3 km. Pada tahun 2007, Al-Qassam-1 ditingkatkan kebolehannya menjadi 10 km.

Untuk sasaran jarak dekat, Al-Qassam-2 dengan berat 35 kg, memiliki diameter 115 mm dan berat 8 kg untuk hulu peledaknya, panjang 180 cm , mampu menjangkau jarak sejauh 6-7 km . Qassam-2 juga digunakan untuk sasaran jarak jauh , dengan berat 50 kg, panjang 250 cm, memiliki diameter 115 mm dan 8 kg untuk hulu peledaknya, mampu mencapai maksimum jarak 10 km.

Palestinians mark the 8th anniversary of martyrdom of Sheikh Yassin

Hamas movement and the Palestinian people mark today the eighth anniversary of the martyrdom of Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, the founder of "Hamas" movement after he was assassinated by the Israeli occupation air forces while heading to home after offering dawn prayers in As-Sabra neighborhood in the Gaza city.

Ahmed Ismael Yassin was born in 1938 in the destroyed village of Al-Joura, Majdal district, near the present-day Zionist town of Ashkelon - or Askalan in Arabic. Yassin's father died when he was five years old.

2 millions marcher towards Jerusalem

The organizing committee of the Global March to Jerusalem expects the participation of more than two million people in the march which will be started from the surrounding countries of Palestine, the Palestinian territories, and some other capitals on March 30, 2012.

“Several international personalities and organizations will join the Global March to Jerusalem that will take place in Jordan and the other surrounding countries except Syria, said the GMJ’s chief executive and coordinator Dr Ribhi Haloum in a press conference held on Tuesday evening .

Halloum added that the Prime Minister Awn Al-Khasawneh expressed satisfaction about the march’s preparation as a peaceful and civilized march offering the government’s help to the organizers.
